Before going in to the fit test, I knew I wasn't out of shape, but I am sure working 40 hours a week sitting at a desk has had to take some toll.
My Day One Fit Test Results:
Switch Kicks (2 Kicks = 1 Rep): 100 Total Kicks or 50 Reps
Power Jacks: 23
Power Knees: 60
Power Jumps: 25
Globe Jumps: 7
Suicide Jumps: 15
Push Up Jacks: 15
Low Plank Oblique: 44
So these are my starting numbers. This marks the beginning of the new, fit me.
During this challenge, there are a few things that I will hold myself accountable for.
1. I will log everything that goes into my mouth at myfitnesspal.com (user name: NekroFelicia). I am aiming for a 1400 calories a day, and will be adjusting it to work with IIFYM (If It Fits Your Macros). I will be incorporating meals from the Insanity Elite Nutrition Plan, Venice Nutrition's Body Confidence and replacing a meal, probably breakfast, with Shakeology.
2. I will commit to following exercise plan as scheduled. No skipping workouts! I will give it everything I have - Shaun T says Dig Deep right??
3.I will share my progress, accomplishments and struggles here. I am human, so I expect to encounter all of these.
4. I WILL NOT GIVE UP!
Here's to the next 62 days - stay strong and dig deep!

The time is now
As a mother of three boys, I think I have always put my needs last.
I have come to the realization that it is okay to put what I need to so for myself at the top of the list. It kind of helps that the boys are getting older, my oldest son just turned 19, my middle one is 16 and my youngest is almost 12. For the past 19 years it has always been about them - taking them to their practices and events and putting on the "happy face" when deep down I was unhappy with myself. I did not like the way my body looked and the years of quick fast food dinners has caught up to me.
Today I change.
Today, I become strong.
Today, I take control of my health.
Today, I work hard to get the body that I want.
Everyone needs to take a first step, and this is mine.
This blog will be the record of my journey. I will share my experiences and my results with Shaun T's Insanity Program - from day one until day 63. I will share clean eating recipes that are working mom and family friendly. I hope to encourage and support other women, that we can do this, together.
Welcome to my Insanity - I am glad to have you along for the ride!
